Hygiene Services Include

NCOA (National Change of Address)
The NCOA database is based on information submitted to the United States Postal Service from individuals, families, and businesses that are changing their place of residence or business location.

Over 40 million Americans change their address annually, which creates formidable obstacles in maintaining a high-quality mailing list.

NCOA processing provides the following benefits to mailers:

• Reduces undeliverable mail by providing the most current address information for matches made to the NCOA file.
• Prevents re-mailings after address corrections are received because the address correction is applied prior to the mailing.
• Reduces mailer costs by reducing the number of undeliverable mail pieces by using the most current address information.
• Provides the opportunity for faster product/service marketing through accurate mail delivery.

We suggest that our clients NCOA process their internal file(s) at least once a year to minimize fallout and maintain the highest deliverability on their mailers.

PCOA (Proprietary Change of Address)
PCOA should be used in conjunction with NCOA to ascertain even more change of addresses that can be used to update your mailing list(s).

Almost the opposite of the NCOA file which is maintained and controlled by the United States Post Office, the PCOA file is a compiled file that is produced from numerous, private organizations and sources. Roughly 26 sources are used in compiling the PCOA file which contains about 150 million change-of-address records for the past 48 months.

DSF2 (2nd Generation Delivery Sequence File)
The 2nd Generation Delivery Sequence File identifies the validity of a given address. DSF2 is a data file that contains all domestic addresses serviced by the U.S. Postal Service. Each address is a separate record on the file that conforms to all USPS addressing standards. This helps our clients reduce the amount of undeliverable-as-addressed (UAA) pieces, which saves clients money, and results in more efficient mailing programs.

CASS Certification (Coding Accuracy Scoring System)
Aside from the names within your list that may have moved in the last year it is estimated that nearly one-third of the records within a list contain either incorrect formatting of an address or missing information crucial to proper delivery of any mail piece. By processing your file against the standards required by the USPS CASS Certification program you can correct or add this critical information to all records (normally included as part of the NCOA processing).

Suppression Services
This provides you the ability to have your internal file suppressed or merged from counts on any file or database that we offer. This way you can ensure you are not paying for addresses, prospects, or customers you already own.

By eliminating those households that have registered with the DMA Mail Preference Service (asking to be removed from direct mail campaigns) you can focus your target on those customers that are more likely to respond to your offer.

Data Consolidation and Standardization
Validation and correction address components ZIP+4 Codes are enhanced and more.

LACS: Locatable Address Conversion System
This process updates rural addresses into city-style addresses.

Deceased Processing
Enables mailers to eliminate deceased individuals from their mailings and prevents disturbing members of the deceased's household with unwanted mail.

National Do Not Call
RJRdata makes every attempt to ensure you comply with the DNC rules regulated by the FTC and FCC with our efficient and simple compliance services.

ECOA - Electronic Change of Address
The lifespan of an email address is just about 18 months, it is crucial to consistently maintain the freshest database achievable, to say ahead of your competition. RJRdata’s permission-based ECOA program is similar to the U.S. Post Office's NCOA service.
